Corpo Dance Company’s non-profit status allows the company to support, sustain, and further the wide-ranging creative activities of Corpo and of The Factory, Corpo’s dance studio. This includes Corpo’s dancers and choroegraphers, studio classes, public dance projects, professional workshops and educational outreach to the Chicago area public and private schools.

Since its’ founding, and in less than a year, Corpo Dance Company has grown to be recognized by its peer organizations in Chicago as a formidable performance company. The company regularly provides volunteer benefit performances to help support the missions of other Chicago based non-profit organizations. Corpo Dance Company, Inc. itself is a 501(c) (3) non-profit organization. The dance company depends on contributions from our patrons to ensure the livelihood of the dance company, studio and educational outreach to schools and for youth programs.

When I make a charitable contribution to Corpo Dance Company, Inc. is that contribution tax-deductible?
Absolutely! Corpo Dance Company, Inc. has 501(c) (3) non-profit status from the IRS — and that means every donation you give counts as a tax-deductible donation. It's one of the ways Corpo makes giving easier and smarter for you. When you make a donation through our site, be sure to save and/or print the confirmation e-mail you receive from Corpo for your tax records.

When I donate, will I get a receipt?
When you donate online to Corpo Dance Company, Inc, you will always receive a confirmation e-mail, which will serve as your receipt. You also can print the confirmation page that appears on your computer screen after you've completed your contribution — that can also serve as a receipt. Whether you donate online, via phone, a mailed check or gift in kind, you will always receive a printed letter of recognition and thanks from Corpo Dance Company’s Executive Director. You should always keep a hard copy of your receipt for your tax records. A cancelled check or credit card receipt is no longer allowed for any donation greater than $250. It is a good policy to obtain a receipt for any donation you make and most charities will issue one automatically.
