Corpo Dance Company is proud to present it’s first Summer Interactive.

The Summer Interactive (SI2008) is dedicated to providing experienced dancers with the opportunity to learn from professional performers, choreographers, and directors. 

Corpo SI2008 includes:

The evening Fireside is designed to enhance the body and soul of SI2008 students after each master class. These firesides include dinner and chat with the distinguished faculty of the day.  The faculty will provide a history about their personal trek as a dancer and choreographer, and then students are asked to participate in an open question and answer session. Each Fireside will be moderated by Rania El-Sorrogy, Founder and CEO of PulzART, a site that celebrates dance in text, pictures, and video.

SI2008 is held on July 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 28.  The master class begins at 5 pm and the fireside at 7 pm concluding before 8 pm each night.  Each class is limited in size, however the firesides are open to all who wish to attend.

The cost for all seven dates is $110 per person with advanced registration.  Individual classes may be taken at a rate of $22 per class.  Firesides are $12 per person.

For those interested in learning the Corpo aesthetic, Artistic Director, Christopher M. McCray will hold an hour and 45 minute introductory class to the unique technique that is Corpo each day of the SI2008.  These classes begin at 3 pm and include ballet, modern and dance acrobatics taught in the Corpo Company style.  The class is $12 per session or $70 for all seven.
